Snowflake obsidian is a black obsidian with inclusions of a white mineral (phenocryst), whose structure within the obsidian, when polished, resembles a snowflake.

It allows one to recognize the unnecessary patterns which remain in ones life and to redesign ones thought patterns to provide relief from undesired conditions.
